Calling all knitters

A nice woolly knitted scarf can warm up even the coldest night, and we want to give away as many as we can at Sydney Homeless Connect –but we need your help to make it happen. Knit a scarf for our event on July 2 and you’ll be making someone’s winter that little bit warmer.

A scarf is one the simplest things you could knit, and you can knit almost anywhere. Knitting needles, wool, a little bit of love and a pattern to follow are all you need, then just knit, stitch and purl your way to a #winterwarmers treat – the hardest decision is the colour wool to use!

Will you help us heat up the streets by knitting a scarf for people who are experiencing homeless?

Sydney Homeless Connect is on Tuesday July 2 and all scarves received will be gifted to people who are experiencing homeless on the day.
Send your scarves to
