Women’s & Girls Emergency Centre
CENTRAL SUPPORT: Our Redfern office provides a personalised service to women and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness – the first point of interaction for clients. Experienced intake staff and case managers determine which of our services and programs will best meet their housing and support needs. CRISIS ACCOMMODATION: We operate three short term crisis accommodation facilities for women and families. Malachite House (inner city Sydney), Holly Lodge and Jeannie’s (inner West) SUPPORTED TRANSITIONAL HOUSING: WAGEC provides 34 transitional properties for families and a large ten-bed transitional property for single women. Our medium term supported accommodation offers women and families the stability of affordable housing before they transition to long term tenancies.
