Homeless Persons’ Legal Service

The Homeless Persons’ Legal Service (HPLS) provides people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with practical legal assistance. Informed by our casework and consumer feedback, we also address causes of homelessness through strategic engagement and policy advocacy with government and service providers. The HPLS Solicitor Advocate provides a dedicated point of contact for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to access legal representation in minor criminal matters. Support for indigenous people is provided. An interpreter is available. Legal clinic times and locations: https://www.piac.asn.au/project-highlight/clinic-times-locations/
